Parade of Senior Homes

Alliance for Senior Housing partners with the Senior Center Network of Traverse City, Leelanau County Senior Services and the Cadillac Senior Center/Senior Networking Advocacy Group to provide the Parade of Senior Homes. Scroll down for 2022 dates for your specific county.

These free bus tours educate the public in a fun and informative way, enabling individuals to plan for their futures. The tours are arranged by county and registration is through the area Senior Centers. Tours are in Grand Traverse, Wexford/Missaukee and Leelanau Counties. Each tour has four different types of homes so people are able to see as many homes as possible on the tours. You can sign up for one or for all!

Those participating receive information on senior housing in Traverse City and the surrounding areas; including cost, and what they offer. The tour guide from the Alliance for Senior Housing can educate you on funding options and how Medicare/Medicaid or VA can be of assistance to you. You can expect to eat good food, win door prizes and get all your questions answered.

Grand Traverse County - Dates to be announced.

To attend you must register by calling the Traverse City Senior Center at 231-922-4911.

Bus leaves from the Traverse City Senior Center at 801 E. Front St. Traverse City.

At present, no Parades are scheduled for other counties.
