WHY WE ARE HERE... Because finding the right housing solution for a loved one will be one of the hardest things you'll ever do. The staff at the Alliance for Senior Housing, LLC has worked with families throughout Traverse City and the surrounding areas for over 17 years and will help guide you through the process of selecting a home. We will be right alongside you; assisting you and your family to help guide you to the home that best meets your needs. 
Connie HIntsala, founder and president, has lived in the Grand Traverse area for over 30 years. Like so many, Connie is part of the "sandwich generation" and understands the challenges of aging parents, running a business and enjoying her children and grandchildren.


Her present experience of caring for parents and her past experiences of being a direct caregiver helps her understand the demands on families and staff. Having been an administrator of a 20 bed assisted living home, it gave her insights as to the State standards and requirements. Most importantly, how a loved one should be treated and respected while being cared for.


As an administrator, she experienced families that would tour the facility in a daze, overwhelmed with choices and worries. It became apparent a consultant was needed to help these families.


Mission Statement: 

To preserve the dignity and independence of an older adult, to improve their quality of life while serving and educating individuals on the choices available.


The result is families are blessed with knowing their loved one is cared for and has an improved quality of life.


HOW WE PROVIDE THIS SERVICE FOR FREE...We are compensated through the facilities that register with us. They are under contract not to charge more to you to cover our fee. You will never be charged for our service to you.
