About Us

WHY WE ARE HERE... Because finding the right housing solution for a loved one will be one of the most difficult tasks in your lifetime.

Connie Hintsala, founder and president, of Alliance for Senior Housing, LLC has worked with families throughout Traverse City and the surrounding areas for over 20 years and will  be right alongside you, assisting you and your family to help guide you to the residence that best meets your needs.

"I have lived in the Grand Traverse area for over 39 years and love it! Like so many, I'm part of the "sandwich generation"- my children, my grandchildren, owning a business and having had aging parents. My parents passed away in 2019 after six years of caring for them in their home and in assisted living. I thought I had empathy for my clients prior to caring for my parents.  It wasn't until after a few years into it, I noticed my lack of energy and enthusiasm, as well as lapses in job performance. The pulls and tugs from every direction.  However, as we know, with life experiences comes empathy and , hopefully, a little more wisdom."    Connie Hintsala

Connie's experiences with her parents , being a direct caregiver  and an administrator of a 20 bed assisted living home, helped her understand families feeling dazed, overwhelmed and worried  with all the options. Having a senior housing expert by your side can take away the fear of the unknown. Someone that not only understands but knows the State standards and requirements that homes must follow to provide a safe environment. Not just a safe environment but one that offers respect and love while caring for their residents. The result is families are blessed knowing their loved one is well cared for, safe and happy.
